Today in Island History
1770 The Falmouth, 53 days out from Greenock, arrives off St. Peter's with 120 settlers sent out by James Montgomery, Lord Advocate of Scotland, to settle his lands on Lot 34. They are among the earliest British settlers to come to Prince Edward Island.

Eptek Art & Culture Centre


Eptek Art & Culture Centre offers regional and Prince Edward Island exhibits year round. Showcases include themes ranging from history to art, including periodic displays of the permanent collection of paintings by the late PEI artist, Dr. Georgie Read Barton.
