1967 Caught in blinding snow, mountainous seas, and hurricane force winds, the 91-foot trawler Iceland II of Souris runs for shelter from a killer storm in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. She wrecks on a shoal near Forchu, Cape Breton. All hands are lost.

Route 1 to Albany
Then 1A, to Summerside,
Then follow Route 2 to Miscouche,
The Acadian Museum is located on Route 2, in Miscouche, 10 km west of Summerside.

From the Northumberland Ferries:
Follow the Trans-Canada Highway (Route 1) to Charlottetown,
Then follow Route 2 West to Summerside,
Continue on Route 2 West to Miscouche,
