Vivian Beer grew up in Clyde River and currently lives in Charlottetown. Vivian achieved her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Prince Edward Island. She spent her early career in international marketing and sales and has owned her own company for the past 16 years. Since 2013, she has worked predominantly in the PEI bioscience community, developing and coordinating the HR strategy for the growing sector. She is Chair of the Clyde River History Committee that hosts an annual history lecture series and manages the community museum. She is also editor/writer for their website www.clyderiverpei.com which now has over 600 stories and features a digital museum. In 2012, she published a book, Landscape of Memories, featuring photography and history of Clyde River.
