Elizabeth Iwunwa was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. She was educated at the University of Prince Edward Island from which she obtained a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in global leadership. Her non-fiction writing documents intersections of the personal and political with Nigerian sensibilities that create global resonances. Iwunwa is the editor, most recently, of Íjè: An Immigrant’s Voyage into Prince Edward Island Life. This canon of immigrant life reveals migration as a journey from one place in the world to another and within self.
