Online Collections
On January 21, 2021 we will be launching our Online Collections - an assortment of digital collections and content that highlight specific themes within our collection. We hope that Islanders and people from around the world enjoy exploring these aspects of the PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation’s collection. This will be an ongoing project so be sure to check in to see what new artifacts are available to view. For our latest additions, look for the drop down menu under the main Collections tab to the left.

Sorensen Spearpoint
This spearpoint (pictured right) is the oldest man-made object ever discovered in Prince Edward Island.
The PEI Museum and Heritage Foundation now holds this stone spear point believed to be more than 11,000 years old. It was discovered by the late Aage Sorensen in the 1930s while digging potatoes in Tryon.
